Elina opened up the letter she had got during Breakfast, she had a frown on her face thinking that it was probably her parents telling her to do better, according to them she'd never be as good as her brother. But as she looked at the first two words baby sister, she realized that it was form her older brother Lucas, he had already been to Hogwarts and was now at home just relaxing. As she carried on reading the letter she began laughing a little, he was asking her so many questions as if it was her first day at Hogwarts.
' Is everyone nice to you? Do you want me to hurt some one? You haven't got a boyfriend have you, guys at Hogwarts are jerks! What are the professor's like? They better be nice to you' Just the typical overprotective brother.
After she had read it she put it back in her bag and lay back on the grass, the weather was surprisingly pleasant. She turned her head to the side watching the Black Lake, she could see ripples forming.

"Hey asshole, do that again and see what happens." Chris said impatiently as he stared at the gryffindor in front of him. So this guy thought he could mess around? No chance. The boy was obviously trying to act as if he ruled the school and his friends gathered behind him but it didn't take long for Chris's friend's to join him. Looking at the boy's expression when he noticed how big of a crowd Chris had behind him, he seemed like a frightened nine year old. " Sorry." The gryffindor mumbled and turned to rush away.
After the few moments of laughter, Chris rolled his eyes and smirked. "I'm gonna go for a walk or something, I'll see you guys later." Chris told them with a nod and continued to stride down the corridor as if nothing had happened.Normally Chris was fine with Gryffindor's but that boy had been bugging him all day and when he threw something at Chris that was it, he wasn't taking no shit.
Arriving at the black lake, he noticed someone there and taking a closer look caused Chris to smirk again. "Hey, Princess." Chris greeted Elina as he walked over and sat down beside her. Chris had known Elina for quite some time and 'Princess' was his nickname for her. "What has you down here?" He asked her raising an eyebrow. |

Looking across the Lkae she could see two boys running around after each other, obviously first years and definatley not Slytherins. Shaking her head at them, she thought it'd be funny if she did a little a little magic to mess with them. As she got out ther wand she began having second thoughts about it, it was pretty mean. But then after looking at there Red and Gold ties she couldn't help but do a spell, she got water from the Black Lake to fly out and hit them both in the back of the head when they weren't looking at eachother.
The two boys turned to face eachother and began arguing, accusing the other of throwing water on him. Elina smirked a little, she was amused by little things like these. They were both yelling now and it began to get annoying to her so she yelled at them, "Ughh Shut up will you? It was me!" She said again showing them what she did, they scowled at her and began walking away. Elina smiled at the way they just walked away without saying anything. It was good being a Slytherin.
Elina put her wand away and was about to lie down again before hearing someone call her 'Princess', she had a angry look on her face and was about to shout at whoever called her that. She wasn't too fond of nicknames and only let certain people call her them. Turning around she saw Chris sit beside and her glare turned into a smile. "Oh it's you!" She said to him, "Hmm, nothing much. i was just sick of sitting inside. How about you? What's been happening with you lately?" She asked.

Seeing the extremely pissed of face of Elina, Chris stared at her with his wide blue eyes. She was a very dangerous person when she was angry, he'd seen her in action before and it was honestly, probably one of the most frightening sights he'd seen in his life. 'Oh it's you!' Was what she said and Chris didn't fail to see the smile and crawled upon her lips, "Hell yeah. Who else would it be?" He said smiling and looked at her curiously. "Yeah, that castle is just too depressing now days." Chris agreed with her and then shrugged lightly when she asked him what's been up. "Nothing really, I've been buried in essay's and exams so it's been pretty tough. What about yourself?" He asked her while changing his gaze from Elina to the lake.
Chris took in her appearance before he turned his head and in his opinion Elina was probably one of the hottest girls in slytherin, she hadn't changed much since he last seen her which was last week but he was unable to stop and chat.

Elina couldn't help but burst out laughign when she saw that his eyes had widend, "What am i really that scary?" She asked him trying to stop laughing. Elina made a face when he'd ask who else it would be, "Oh i don't know. Maybe some perverted Slytherin guy, you know what they're like," she said to him. "Anyway i don't just let anyone call me what they liek. So consider yourself special," she told him. Elina nodded as he said that castle is too depressing, "Yeah, ther's nothing to do anymore. I mean there inly so many little gryffindors a girl can terrorise!" She exclaimed, thinking of the two little boys from earlier. "Awww, well you should take a break. Come and hang out wiht me more often, i'm sure i'm more fun than a bunch of essays. besides you know you could get some smart younger kid to do it for you." She said knowing that some of her friends had done stuff like that before.
"I've been, extremly bored recently, nothing to do!" she told him. She then leant against him, "Sorry, you're just more comfortable than the grass is", she said smiling. Looking up at him, she finally understood why so many girls were falling head over heals for him. He was definitly one of the most, actractive boys in Slytherin & to match his looks Elina thought he had an amazing personality.(occ; Its alright

Chris shrugged and nodded his head "Yeah." He said in a joking way, "Your scary when your angry though." Chris whispered to her with a wide grin and ran a hand through his short spiky blonde hair. Nodding his head, Chris knew alot of those kind of guys and surprisingly alot of them where his friends, "Well if anyone and i mean anyone perverts on you, let me know and they'll be in the hospital wing before you know it." he reassured her and closed his eyes for a few moments before opening them and staring at her contently. After her comment, Chris smiled proudly and put a hand over his heart "That's touching. Your pretty special too." He said pretending to be touched and then let a small laugh escape his lips. "I know what you mean." Chris mumbled remembering the boy earlier "And I'll do that. I haven't spent time with you in.....i can't even remember it was so long ago." Chris told her.
"I agree!" Chris spoke softly and let her rest lean him as he rested his head against hers. "It's fine. Your actually comfortable too."He told her and looked out at the black lake. But after a few moments of looking at the same boring picture, he decided to look at something far better. Catching Elina's gaze caused Chris to smile down at her as she looked up at him. |

Elina laughed as he said she was scary when she was angry "Yeah well, it's because nobody can take me seriously. Just because I'm small!" She said pouting a little, "But trust me i can cause a hell lot of damage when i want" She said smiling slightly. Elina hugged him as he said he'd put any perverted guys in the Hospital wing, "Awww, you're too sweet!" she said affectionately to him. "It better be touching! You should feel honored in fact!" She said poking him where his heart was. "Obviously I'm special, how can i not be?" She asked him ,smiling cheekily. Elina raised her eyebrow, well tried to, she hadn't quite mastered the art of lifting one eyebrow yet, it drove her crazy. "Exactly! You don't even remember. that's just disgraceful." Elina said to him acting all offended. "You haven't spent near enough time with me Mr. Zabini, you owe me", she told him.
"Good, because I'm not planning on moving any time you know!" She said snuggling up to him, right now she'd hate to have to move. Elina blushed as he caught her gaze, 'What the hell, i never blush!' She thought to herself. She didn't realize just how gorgeous his eyes were, until now.

In his mind Chris agreed with every word that Elina said but as he looked at her his shook her head in disagreement, "No, that's not true. I take you seriously." That part was true, "Especially when your angry." Chris spoke, trying to put a serious expression on but was failing terribly and a smile cracked his lips. Hugging her back, Chris rolled his eyes "Now your stating the obvious! But don't be saying that out loud people will think i belong in Hufflepuff these days." he whispered to her playfully. "And i do feel honored!" Chris cut in while rubbing his chest where she poked, "I'm very, very proud that you think I'm special." He finished. Closing his eyes tightly, "I know, I'm ashamed." Chris admitted frowning, "I'm sorry Miss Ryder. your right, i do owe you. And what is it that i owe you exactly? To spend more time with you or something?" He asked her "Cause I'm willing to do so." It was weird, fifth teen minutes ago he felt like punching someone and now he was more than happy and relaxed.
"Well, If your not moving neither am i" Chris pointed out, being a bit stubborn. He was too comfortable to move and still resting his head against Elina's, strangely it felt as if he had nothing to worry about. Catching Elina blush, Chris was going to tease her but then closed his mouth again cause he knew if he got caught staring at a girl he'd blush too.Chris didn't move his gaze from hers and kept eye contact, her eyes where stunning just like everything else to do with her. |

Elina gave him a big smile as he said that he took her seriously, and then was watching him from the corner of her eye as he began to smile. "Chris!" she said, whilst shaking her head and laughing. "Don't worry I won't. besides it's impossible for someone like you to belong in Hufflepuff. You're too cute!" She told him which was true, Hufflepuff was just, ugh. Elina found it weird how people could act different in front of other people, then when they are with their friends. She had seen it plenty of times before, especially with Slytherins. I mean sure they had a reputation of being quite horrible and nasty, but that didn't mean that acted like that all the time. In fact the reason that most of them hid the fact that they could be nice, was because once you start being nice people think that they can take advantage of you and start walking all over you. And nobody wanted that. "Good, so you should." Elina said to him after he said that he felt very honored, "Hmmm... I'm gonna have to think about that. But for now, you can just spend time with me more often", she said wondering about what she could get him to do.
"Well then, i guess we're stuck here forever aren't we?" She asked laughing at him stubbornness, it was so adorable. She was pretty stubborn herself, so she had no idea exactly when they'd end up getting up. Maybe Chris didn't see her blush, well either way he didn't say anything about it, thankfully. Looking at him again she noticed him looking at her and kept her eyes fixed on his as well. Elina was still looking at him when it hit her, she was falling for him.

Chris couldn't hold in his laughter any longer and when she caught him, his laugh filled the air. Calming down he placed his hands over his face and took a long breath, Chris smirked, "I'm cute? Couldn't you find a better word than cute? Like Hot! Or something along those terms? It sounds better. Example, Elina...You are really beautiful! See! It sounds better, but next time don't use beautiful it's too feminine." He explained to her and then laughed again. Sighing he shrugged, "That's going to be hard. Being around you alot...I feel sorry for myself!" He joked and then nudged Elina on the shoulder "just joking. It sounds great!" Chris said enthusiastically.
"I guess you're right!" Chris said with a smirk and wrapped his arm around her shoulder. "Your probably one of the most stubborn girls i know." He stated and grinned at her, it was true most girls where actually really easy going. Still looking down at Elina, Chris leaned slightly closer and then stopped not knowing if it was the right thing to do. 'Maybe she doesn't feel the same. And it'll ruin our friendship' Chris thought to himself but still remained in the same position. |

Elina watched him laughing and shook her head, then after Chris said that she could've thought of a better word rather than cute. "Okay, sorry, sory. I'll keep that in mind next time i feel like complimenting you!" She said whilst laughing. Elina then nturned to him with a dead serious look on her face, she pulled Chris closer to her saying "Chris there's something i need to tell you." She then took a deep breath, and looked back at him, "I don't think you're cute. Infact, I think you are very, very ...pretty," she stated trying to keep a straight face as she thought that, this way his reaction would be even funnier. "Yes it does sound pretty damn awesome doesn't it, to be hanging out with me. Just think about all the fun things we can do!" She squealed excitedly, moving on form the subject.
"Yes i am exremly stubborn, and i am right, obviously. I'm always right!" Elina exclaimed, knowing fully well that it wasn't true. But shhh he didn't need to know that. The last time she tried to convince someone that what she though was right resulted in a tiny explosion in the Potions classroom. Elina was watching Chris as he leaned in closer and all she wanted to do was grab his tie and pull him in for a kiss. But she didn't know what to do, because the last thing she wanted was things too get arkward between them. 'Well a little too late for that', she though actually grabbing his tie.

Staring at Elina, Chris smiled "Good, I'm sure your next compliment will make me feel so much better!" He said smirking and thought about the next compliment she would hopefully give to him. As Elina leaned closer, Chris listened up "Alright, I'm listening..Shoot!" he said and waited for her to speak. Feeling his jaw hit the floor, Chris left a large gap open between his lips and stared at her "PRETTY! Yeah pretty insulting!" He told her and then let out a laugh "Merlin! I could just kill you right now!" Chris said still laughing softly. "Oh my god! Your right, imagine all the things we could do." He said putting on a girly voice and then slapped himself on the head "Your causing me to get weird" Chris told her and then smirked.
"Sure, Sure" Chris mumbled and rolled his eyes "Yeah as right as wrong. Don't think i wasn't there in the potions classroom. Luckily Higgs is pretty easy on Slytherin's" Chris told her with a smirk. Looking at Elina hold his tie, Chris then realized that she must've wanted him to kiss her, and that was what he did. Crashing his lips upon Elina's he was curious of how she was going to respond to his actions |

Elina smiled back at Chris as he said that her next compliment would make him feel better, "Uh Huh", was all that she was able to say, because she knew if she opened her mouth she'd start laughing. Elina watched with amusement as he said that he was listening, she had to admitt. His reaction was Priceless!! If only she had a camera or something. "Nahhh, you'd never kill me. Your life would be hollow and meaningless without me!" She said dramatically. Elina laughed at his girly voice and again when he said she was making him weird. "Nope, just helping you realease your feminine side!" She said with a big grin. "You know what? You should wear pink, i'm sure it'd look fabulous on you!!" She said jokingly.
"Damn!" Elina muttered hoping maybe he'd forgotten about the incident. "Yes well, it wasn't my fault at all. it was the stupid kid next to me. He didn't listen to what I was saying properly." She tried explaining to him. "Yep Higgs is pretty cool. I swear i'd probably be failing if he wasn't the professor", she said to Chris. Elina felt Chris's lips come down on hers and she responded back by kissing him & running her fingers through his hair.

Rubbing the back of his neck, Chris didn't take any notice to Elina's expression so when she mumbled something alone the terms of okay or something, he took it seriously. Still staring at her with widened blue eyes and an open mouth "Are you serious!" Chris said "I'll pretend i didn't hear that." He muttered under his breath and shook his head. Shrugging Chris had to agree with Elina "I guess your right but next time i wont be so merciless!" He told her with a fake glare. "I haven't got a feminine side and i don't want one." Chris spoke loudly and then covered his ears like a five year old "i refuse to wear pink!" He stated and then let his hands fall from his ears.
"Yeah! Ha that was funny but i suppose i couldn't do i better." Chris muttered and rubbed the back of his neck. "Or maybe you where just too stubborn to listen to him and you decided to do it your own way." he pointed out with a smirk, "Yeah, I have to agree with you there." if it wasn't for Higgs then Chris would also being failing that class and he only went because he always got time to sleep and Higgs would just completely ignore him, it was only Slytherin students who could really get away with it though. Sliding his arm from her shoulder to her waist, Chris pulled her closer to him if that was possible and kissed her back while sliding his tongue in her mouth and leaning closer to Elina. |
