Tarquin strolled along the edge of the black lake. his mind was on his next class. he picked up a stone and skimed it across the lake. His thoughts were with his clan he wondered if what he was doing would help them. The school was quiet at this time of year the weather was bad. the rain beated down on him. in truth he found it refreshing. he could of cast a speel to stop him from geting wet but were was the point in that?
He strolled along looking out to the midle of the lake. he started righting a paper on the history of the dark lords. he wondered weather it would end up geting published.

Marisa was taking her usual walk around the black lake. She was tired and very depressed. Her son was sick and she couldn't be there to care for him. She was tired from lesson planning. She thought a nice long stroll around the black lake would be nice. She saw a man a few feet away from her and decided to introduce herself. She walked towards him and smiled. "Hello I'm Marisa Brant." She said in her heavy British accent.

"hello i am Tarquin the defence professor. It is a pleasure to meet you." his own thick celtic accent came through, he offered her his hand and a warm smile as the rain ran down his face. it wouyld be good to have some one to talk to and get his mind of thing for now. " so i gather you are a new teacher then?"

"Well I was excellent in Transfiguration in my younger years and I really enjoy doing it." She said in a kindly matter. "So why did you decide to come and teach at Hogwarts?" She asked in a curious tone.

"long storry i am trying to help my clan. by nature we are a xenaphobic people. we dont like out siders at all. When law were past about 20 years ago we were out side the law. I belive our xenaphobic way would lead to problems so by becoming a teacher here i could hopfull talk some of the familys in teh clan to let there childreen come here.

"I came to teach so I could earn a living and help my family out. You see I was married once and I had a child and after that he divorced me. I've been trying hard to get a job for the past year and I guess Hogwarts just came to me." She smiled at him. "So how about you do you have any family?"

"I dont do family. its never realy worked out before." he thought back to the time when the minestry came to inforce there laws. he had fought so hard that day and still he lost so much. it was something that still haunted him to that day, in Nightmares.

"He's only 6." She said. "His father left us when he was only 1." She said. "He didn't think he was important to me." She said in a sad tone."I guess I feel bad for Oliver my son because he's never really actually "seen" his father. He gets a call from him on his birthday and holidays and that's it."
