Faith was just walking along extremely happy to be away from her mother. Her face was lit up by a bubbly smile and her body movement was definitely happy. She was herself again. She was looking around not really paying any attention at all when she banged into someone. "Oh my gosh I'm so sorry. Let me help you up." Her lower voice was smooth and she smiled as she said it.

Chris was way too busy to even see where he was walking, too many people where surrounding him, these people where his supposedly friends and most of them he didn't even know. Slipping through the crowd, Chris made it away from them with out being noticed. But only being a few minutes a way from the group he banged into some one. A girl? "Oh, No it's no problem. It's all my fault." Chris said flashing her a smile and giving the crowd one last look before turning his attention back to the girl. "Chris, Chris Zabini. And you are?" Chris introduced himself politely.

"I'm Faith Benedict." She said still smiling. "I'm sorry I wasn't really looking." She said to him noticing the crowd behind him. "So whats up with the crowd?" She asked a little confused.

"Nice to meet you Faith. Lovely name." He complimented her and nodded "Then we are both even." Chris told her.Still remaining to smile, Chris glanced over to the crowd. "There was an argument earlier with some kid and they haven't stopped following me around ever since. I've finally managed to get away from them though." Chris told her rubbing the back of his neck, remembering the kid who tried to have a go at him.

"Oh too bad." She said. "You like my name? Well I don't considering it was my mother's choice." She said. "I don't like my mother." She said with a frown.

Chris stared at her with his blue eyes, "You don't like your mother? Why?" He asked her curiously, Chris loved his mother but it was his father that was the problem. 'What an asshole! Leaving my mother for some piece of shit.' Chris though to himself annoyed at himself to even be thinking of his father.

"Well she is always "into" her art and never pays any attention. When I was younger she would always ignore me. But when she had my brother she would give him attention day and night. You see this one time I got a solo part in the chorus and she never showed up. When I got home practically in tears she was working on a plate someone ordered from her." She said not looking hurt at all. "You see she is a potter."

Listening to her, Chris did feel sympathetic but he understood how she felt, he father ignored him alot and now all they do is fight and curse each other. "I'm sorry to hear that." Chris told her placing a hand on her shoulder and attempting to give her a smile.

"Oh don't worry about me now all I want to do is stay away from her. When I got my Hogwarts letter my parents were terrified but I was jumping for joy." She said with a smile. "I mean no more mother and no more pottery! I swear if I see another piece of pottery." She joked.

Chris laughed, "Well, my letter was expected since the day i was born." He told her and rolled his eyes, "Your in luck, Thankfully this school hasn't got no pottery classes." Chris joked with a soft smile. "So What where you planning on doing before i banged into you?" He asked her.

"Nothing too important just meandering. I love to meander." She said with a smile. "So you must be halfblood or pureblood. I'm muggleborn. Lucky me." She said sarcastically.

"Oh right." Chris said, he wasn't doing nothing better so he just shrugged. "I'm pureblood but that's not important." He told her with a smile. Chris didn't judge people by their blood status he knew better than to act like his father.

"Well I'm glad your not one of those stuck up pureploods who think mugleborns like me are no good." She said with a smile. "But I wonder why you were sorted into Slytherin." She smiled at him.

"I'm quite glad i'm not like those type of purebloods either!" Chris said and also smiled. Laughing he looked at Faith "Probably because when i'm pissed off i can turn pretty mean including i have a really bad temper. But i mainly think it's because all my family is in Slytherin, even my sister thoug i have no idea how the hell she managed to be placed in Slytherin, She wouldn't harm a fly!" He told her and laughed.

"I never have a bad temper." She said. "At least I try not to." She smiled. "I'm not particularly shy either. I guess I get it from my aunt. You know Professor Stuart."
