Lily passed the shop in a vain desire to buy something. She had everything she needed but wanted something just for her. Right now she just wanted to buy something, she had been walking around for what felt like hours all because she wanted something to buy. Despite this she was quite bored and was looking for something else to do aswell as this. Stopping for a second to look at new brooms she decided to keep on walking, after all she didn't have enough money for the broom she wanted, which was obvioiusly the best broom on show.

Faith was walking the streets. She just had to get away from her. Referring to her mother. Her parents decided to come down for a weekend and demanded she visit when free. She was caught in a talk when she told them she had a little school shopping to do. She was wearing a nice pair of jeans and a yellow henley with heart shaped buttons. Her unruly bushy blonde hair was not cooperating so it was up in a ponytail. She was just about to walk into a store when she saw Lily. She ran up to her and greeted her. "Hey Lily." She said rather nicely.

"Hi," she replied seeing Faith, she didn't really know her all that well but she was glad to see a sort of familiar face. Still a smile crossed her face as she saw how happy Faith looked, it seemed that she was like this constantly but didn't seem to question it because she saw no reason in not being happy. Tucking a strand of hair behind her ear that had escaped from its plait she was seriously reconsidering to her hair this way. "So what brings you here?" She asked trying to be polite.

"Oh I'm just walking around trying to escape my mother." She said with a small laugh. "So what are you up to?" She asked noticing Lily's hair feeling happy that she wasn't the only one having a bad hair day.

Shrugging her shoulders she answered, "nothing much how about you?" Looking back in the window she asked, "do you think this would look good on me?" She was referring to a cream dress in the window. The dress

"Yeah I think it would look nice on you." She examined Lily. "So what's the new Charms professor like. I haven't met him. I've only heard of him." She really wanted to know. "I heard he had a relationship with Professor Brant."

"I heard that too, but to be honest I havn't really seen hin, I don't really pay atention in class and just wind up doodling in the back cover of my book, I guess I really should now that you think about it," she shrugged her shoulders and felt that maybe she should strat paying attention in class more.

"I have to pay attention in class or else. My life is a living nightmare." She said not as happy as usual. "My parents are the worst. My dad wants me to excel in school but my mom ignores me completely. She's in love with clay." She laughed out the "in love with clay" part.

"Don't worry, it'll sort itself out," she said trying to sound reassuring she smiled as she laughed but wondered how she would react if she swapped it over and she had a life where half of her family didn't want anything to do with her.

"I highly doubt it but I guess I can still hope." She said with a smile. "So what about you what is your life like?" She asked with a interest. Her life was terrible. She hoped that Lily's wasn't as bad. She tried to flaten her hair out with her hands but it really wasn't working at all.

"Trust me, you don't want to know," Lily shrugged it off as she felt that it was better to hold it all back than to dump it all on Faith, half of her family didn't want anything to do with her. She gre up in a household that was always argueing and where she always had to escape from. She only hoped that Faith didn't have as much on her shoulders. After all she dind't feel right loading it off on someone else, she felt bad enough as it was.

"Lily if you have a bad life you should tell me. I mean I could probably relate to it." She said with a nice smile. "I mean my family doesn't care about me really." She looked at Lily. "Besides I love to help people out with their problems I'm a good listener."

"Thanks but no thanks, I would rather not load it off onto you," she said shrugging, she really didn't feel like sharing her feelings today but she guessed that maybe it would help if she didn't start crying first.
"Okay, half of my family doesn't want anything to do with me and my fathers not going to do anything about it because the last thing he said to me and my mother were 'I'm leaving, you can't stop me, you win't stop me and if you even think about stopping me I'll have you both shut up in an asylum," her body language became awkward all of a sudden as she hated talking about her family.

"Hey Lily it's OK I kinda understand. I don't know what your going through. Its a little like that for me. My dad tries to care but he's not good at it and my mom could care less about me. She makes me work for her and I don't think she's ever hugged me in my whole life." She said now that she thought about it.

"Thanks, I guess we both drew the short straw when it comes to family functionality, don't worry I bet your mum does actually love you, my dad hates me and isn't afraid of showing it," she shrugged it was quite nice to get to open up to someone who it wasn't theri job to listen to her.
